International Women’s Day 2020 | Jessica Sam

ZircoDATA embraced the #EachforEqual theme for this years International Women’s Day and will showcase some of our outstanding and talented ladies from across different parts of our business. Tell us more about your role and what this entails? What do you enjoy about your job? I am part of the client care team, which involves providing our clients with the skills and knowledge to completely utilise our service with confidence. What singular moment in your career or personal life has made a significant impact on your personal and/or career development? Becoming a parent and developing the skills to multi-task efficiently. This years theme for International Women’s Day is #EachforEqual which is about “Collective Individualism”. What does “Collective Individualism” mean to you as part of your role at ZircoDATA or individually?  Collective Individualism means to me that each individual can make an impact in an organization regardless of how small or big their actions are. Who is your mentor or role model in business and why?  Sukki Singapora because she taught me to never give up on your passion and dreams regardless of what others think. What advice would you have given to your younger self if you had the opportunity?  “There is no substitute for hard work. When you hit a brick wall, study what makes it so strong, find its weak spots, and learn how to convert it into a staircase.” Our next ambassador for ZircoDATA’s recognition of International Women’s Day is from our finance team, Preethi Abothu. She has had some exciting opportunities and will be sharing them with us.
